Ok Today I'm focusing on one of the helpful feature of Ms-excel
Ms-Excel Prvide a very good feature of referencing.Suppose you r making a database and in it you need to sum
A1+B1 to C1
A2+B2 to C2
and Like wise then you put the formula in C1 ie. =A1+B1
and then click a small square or dot at right end of the selected cell and drag it below.
and this is called relatie Referencing. By this excel will take formula for
C2 =A2+B2
But Wat if you want to keep Row 1 in A1 constant too i.e.
A1+B1 to C1
A1+B2 to C2
and likewise then just place $ sign before the row or column you want to keep constant like Formula on C1
=A$1+B1
and then drag that point.
this is called mixed referencing.
and if you want to keep the exact copy
then write formula
=$A$1+$B$1 for C1
then it will copy for C2 as
=A1+B1
and this is termed as absolute refrencing.
